Create an infographic regarding a hobby, then animate it into a short 30-second video
Design Goal
1. Structured and informative infographic, yet portraying the artist’s (Laufey’s) creativity
2. Retain the audience’s attention while sharing concise information, both in static and animated infographics
Laufey is a jazz-pop artist who was just beginning to gain recognition when I created this project in college. As a listener, I wanted to introduce audiences to who she is beyond her music through an engaging, visual narrative. Version 1 was my initial design; after feedback from my professor and peers, I developed Version 2. When we were later assigned a 30-second animated video, I created Version 3 as the main visual and structural guide for the animation.
